Civil Work Quantity Surveyor

For an ongoing construction project Techmedia is searching for energetic, proactive and motivated Civil Work Quantity Surveyor.

Location: construction site in suburban settlement of Belgrade

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Quantity Surveying (remeasuring and evaluating of quantities from drawings)
• Qualifying checks on site if necessary, for a mutual agreement with Contractor  
• Checking and monitoring Contractor’s Progress ongoing between Application for Payment; SubContract management            
• Qualifying checks on Engineering Company if necessary, for a mutual agreement with Contractor  
• Cost estimator - preparing estimates for the cost of construction project
• Qualifying checks on site if necessary, for a mutual agreement with Contractor  
• Checking and monitoring Contractor’s Progress ongoing between Application for Payment; Contract management activity    
• Items used by Contractor, including the interpretation of Contract including the pertinent method of measurement; Subcontract Administrator with interface and full supporting   to Construction 
• Qualifying checks on site instructions or site variants e.g. Site instruction, Variation Proposals, Star rates and debit notes (back charge); Contract management activity           
• Procurement materials and Contract Packages

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES

• Comfortable working as part of a multidimensional team
• Exemplify a strong attention to detail
• Possesses superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines
• Must have strong computer skills and knowledge of common programs such as Microsoft Office and G Suite
• Previous experience working as Civil Work Quantity Surveyor
• Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills in both Serbian and English language (French would be a plus)
• Capable of professionally managing confidential information
• Exemplify creative problem-solving abilities
