Claims Officer

Stefan Logistics is looking for a reliable Claims Officer to join our amazing team!
Duties:
- Assessing Bill of Ladings and load information with overages, shortages, damages or refusals for potential claim issues
- Processing insurance claims that company receives
- Assuring that all of the information on claim invoices and related documents are accurate and complete
- Managing correspondence with customers, carriers and insurance companies, both written and oral
- Recording all findings in a timely manner and informing CFO and management about them
Qualifications:
- Must be able to speak and read English
- Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to multi-task and learn quickly
- Must be a team player, while still being able to produce individual results
- Strong detail orientation and customer service focus
- Solution-focused mindset
- Must be able to work shift hours:
- 2nd Shift Monday-Friday 2:00pm-11:00pm
