We are looking for a new member of our Team in Belgrade, Serbia who will be:
- Responsible for operation of signalling and messaging services for global Carrier Service Provider in the area of mobile communications.
- Working in the TGW Network Operations team.
- Providing high level quality of operation.
- Improvement of service performance quality.
- On-Call service.
Main responsibilities:
- Operation and maintenance of relevant services and Network Elements in signalling and messaging domains.
- Analysis and investigation of network faults (HW/SW, configuration) and customer complaints. Reporting and tracking of faults towards vendors.
- Implementing core network expansions and configuration changes.
- Supporting introduction of new features, tools and solutions, testing and implementing new Network Elements, Software release, features for Signalling related network elements.
- Active participation in development of all processes and procedures related to the area.
- Monitoring of performance and taking action to improve service quality.
- Operation of related management systems (signalling and traffic monitoring).
- Managing projects and activities related to the area. Preparation of proposals for key decisions.
- Supporting partners and customers with consultancy.
- Supporting NOC (Network Operation Center) during fault-management. Participate in on-call service.
Requirements:
- University degree in electrical engineering or computer science (M.Sc.EE expected).
- Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in mobile services - technologies, protocols.
- Good IP knowledge and programming skills is beneficial.
- Experience in LINUX/UNIX/WINDOWS system operations.
- Experience in SW testing and handling trouble tickets.
- Team player, able to work independently and capability to cooperate with other divisions.
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work in a high pressure working environment.
- Able to handle workload and give good performance even in stressful environment.
- Market and customer oriented way of thinking and attitude, result oriented.
