The Course Administrator will ensure that all the administrative and logistics aspects related to training courses delivered by ICRC’s five Regional Protection Trainers run smoothly. S/He will provide efficient and timely remote administrative, logistical and organizational support to the Regional Protection Trainers, including support for online preparation and facilitation.
The ICRC Belgrade Shared Services Centre (BSSC) provides support services to the ICRC’s worldwide operations and is currently looking for a suitable candidate to fill the following position:

MAIN TASKS
A) Courses management
- Conducts all the activities related to the organization and technical support for the facilitation of online training in the field of Protection
- Sends out a call for applications for Protection courses (in particular the global course “Protection Essentials”), receives and processes course applications, ensures participants meet criteria, establishes participant lists, prepares and sends correspondence giving course details
- Creates online sessions, registers participants, and manages changes to the participant list along with providing or coordinating support to participants
- Provides support during live online sessions (particularly at the start of sessions, and/or for large cohorts) and downloads participant lists
- Organizes and monitors completion rates of course activities and sends assessment questionnaires or surveys to participants
- Organizes the recording of course completion in the platform for each participant, and enters statistical information
B) Information management
- Maintains a coherent archiving system in collaboration with the Information Management Unit
- Participates in establishing the yearly course planner, in coordination with course facilitators
- Contributes to updating the Protection Training Unit’s intranet page
- Updates the Protection external learning channel on an annual basis
REQUIRED PROFILE
- University or professional certification or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in an administrative or assistant role
- Good knowledge of information systems, event organization, finance and administration
- Fluent command of English and an intermediate command of French or of Spanish (both oral and written)
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to work in virtual teams as well as independently without constant supervision
ASSETS
- Knowledge of digital learning tools (Teams, Zoom, Wooclap, Mural)
- Previous experience in an international environment
