JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Processing new company drivers as well as new drivers from existing owners (checking records as well as making sure the application is properly filled out and all required documents are brought on for orientation)
- Follow up with all freshly hired drivers (for the first two weeks will make sure the driver understands the proper way to use hours of service, breaks etc; will enforce the claims free policy of securing loads, checking the way shipper loaded the trailer; generally speaking familiarizing the driver with the company culture
- Answering phone calls and properly directing them in order to prevent any possible communication breakdowns
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1 year of experience at a similar position
- Fluent English, both spoken and written (will be tested)
- Spanish speakers have the adventage
- Outstanding communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize and multitask
