We are looking for driven individuals who will support us in our productive environment to:

• Drive the scaling of new banking solutions with the help of data science
• Be the mastermind in managing data workflows and turning it in practical insights

You will be part of our adaptive set-up where Data engineers, Data scientists, MLOps engineers as well as Data analysts internationally work together on different use cases.

What your job will look like:

• Engage in data science projects from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
• Assemble complex retail-banking data sets, establish data structures, and manage reporting systems
• Work with state-of-art cloud architecture using AWS and Databricks
• Continuously support both internal colleagues and consumers from local Banks in best practices of architecture and automation
• Lead the documentation process and create clear schemas and reports to visualize processes and metrics
• Resolve cross-team dependencies, conduct pre-analysis for brainstorming, and help Product Owner to plan and manage team work
• Oversee data governance, quality, and integrity. Evaluate and improve existing processes. Support the team on data initiatives

What you bring to the table:

• Structured and conceptual mindset coupled with strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving attitude 
• Professional experience in designing and developing production ready data applications incl. data governance and data quality
• Experience with ETL tools and expertise in PySpark, Python, SQL (DDL, analytical functions, sub-queries, optimization of performance, principles for optimization)
• Software engineering excellence and good understanding of data modeling core concepts
• Experience working within agile (scrum) methodology 
• Fluent English, spoken and written 

Will be a plus:

• BSc in Computer Science, Informatics, Software Engineering or related major
• Knowledge of ML principles and frameworks, analytical libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn etc.) 
• Knowledge of DBT / DBT tests for ETL pipelines
• Experience with CICD tools (we use GitHub actions and data bricks jobs)
