We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in the Belgrade office!
As a DevOps Engineer you will have an essential role in integrating the project functions and resources across the product life cycle, right from planning, building, testing, and deployment to support.
Responsibilities
- Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs
- Proposing and implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
- Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
- Proposing and implementing tools for problem solving and optimization
- Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
- Technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project
- Working with team members in order to come up with new ideas and solutions
- Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs
- Researching technologies and supporting the technical decision strategy on the project
- Recognising risks and providing solutions to complex problems
- Solving blockage problems on the project and allowing team members to continue with work
- Noticing problems in architecture and suggesting solutions
- Estimating the time required to accomplish certain tasks and respects deadlines
- Incidence management and root cause analysis
Technical skills
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent in working experience
- Experience working with Cloud infrastructure
- Experience and knowledge of some scripting languages (Bash, Python,...)
- Experience with the Docker and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Nomad, Consul)
- CI / CD - many years of experience in working with tools for automatic deployment infrastructure and applications (Jenkins, Terraform, Gitlab CI/CD ...)
- Many years of experience in working with git
- Experience working with different databases (Mysql, Postgresql)
- Excellent troubleshooting
- Experience working together with teams from several departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan
