Developer for Backend/Frontend Development in PHP and JavaScript

We are hiring five Developers for Backend/Frontend development in PHP and Javascript (m/f/d).

Emotion is a medium-sized 214 staff, up-and-coming e-commerce company in Germany, France, USA and Serbia in the field of bathroom furniture, whirlpools and wardrobe furniture.

You can expect an exciting, varied job in a team with flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes in our brand new workspace in Belgrade.

You will become part of the development team and ensure smooth operations with your expertise and innovative ideas and the further development of the webshops and websites both on frontend and backend side.

In addition, you will develop processes and tools to maximize the user experience (even after the order is completed).

You work closely with the developer team of the parent company in Bremen, Germany.

Your profile

• You are proficient in object-oriented development with PHP, as well as the relational database systems MySQL and MSSQL 
• In the frontend you are very familiar with HTML, CSS and Javascript (jQuery). You have also heard the terms LESS/SASS. 
• Knowledge of eCommerce is an advantage but not required
• Ideally, you are also fit in handling Python or Java, interface connection via RESTful APIs and the preparation of data for further use.
• You are characterized by a methodical and thorough approach. You draw your motivation from your own initiative and

Location: Our factory in Serbia is located in Zajecar but your office location will be in the city center of Belgrade.
