A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Global EPLAN Electrical Engineering Specialist, your day is centered around the process of harmonizing libraries and workflows, kicking off with stand-up meetings to review and prioritize daily tasks. You will spend time defining and refining requirements, collaborating with colleagues worldwide, and providing training and support to users. Throughout the day, you will also contribute to develop strategies to include EPLAN into the global tool landscape of Siemens Energy.

• Streamlining the engineering process across the organization
• Provide technical support and training to global users
• Develop and implement workflows for generating circuit diagrams
• Support development of global EPLAN libraries
• Establish and implement development procedures, guidelines, and standard methodologies to ensure consistency and quality within the Siemens Energy organization
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of modularization concepts and EPLAN libraries with overall project objectives

What You Bring

• The basis of your success is a completed degree in electrical engineering, ideally with a focus on drive or power engineering, or you have trained as an electrical engineer with several years of professional experience
• You have kwon-how and knowledge in project management and engineering of electro-technical units in plant engineering, as well as engineering and quality assurance processes
• You have extensive knowledge of the electrical EPLAN software suite including EPLAN Electric P8, EPLAN Pro Panel and Cogineer.
• You have experience in working in internationally staffed and cross-location teams as well as in an agile environment
• Your methodical approach as well as a detailed and independent way of working will also convince us.
• You are performance-oriented, able to work under pressure and score points with strong collaboration and communication skills in English

About the Team

The role will be part of a team with the overall responsibility of providing a global engineering platform. As the execution counterpart of portfolio management and sales, you will drive the implementation of an cost-efficient and innovative framework for the project execution.

We serve EAD (Electrification - Automation - Digitalization) first and foremost, but we also extend our capabilities and support to other business areas or strategic projects in Siemens Energy.
Our Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector. Growing electrification and efficiency are key and demand for green H2 and derivative fuels will rise. We enable decarbonization of the industrial sector and the transition to sustainable processes, building on a strong industrial customer base, a global network, diverse technologies, and coordinated execution capabilities.
