Environment Manager

About the job:

Environment Manager is responsible for the implementation of our Environmental Strategy & performance, supporting the overall Sustainability Strategy in our Company, driving environmental performance, assuring compliance with all legislative, internal, and external requirements, driving process improvement in close collaboration with Manufacturing and Logistics team. In parallel, Environment Manager works closely with all functions (Supply Chain, CAS, Legal, P&C, Commercial) to improve Environmental Sustainability culture and awareness within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cascade the CCH Environmental Strategy to the country level with the ultimate goal to minimize the Environmental impact
• Lead the Environmental certification process (ISO, SVA, SWPP, AWS, etc.)
• Establish and drive implementation of the BU Net Zero By 40 roadmap
• Establish strong cross-functional relationships to support environment strategy and initiatives execution
• Represent our Company in external Environmental Committees/Bodies
• Work with all involved external internal groups to deliver Environmental performance.
• Work with and Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, Suppliers, Contractors for identification and implementation of new practices/processes/technologies which lead to improvement of Environmental performance
• Close monitor & Drive Environmental performance improvement
• Ensure Environmental reporting is done on time and with accuracy
• Lead the Environmental risk assessment and CAP related to audits and Environmental performance
• Identify training needs and implement training plans for all involved functions/sites to achieve Environmental capability and excellence.
• Bring/Share knowledge and facilitate regular information and experience exchange between all groups and people involved in environmental performance

Requirements:

• University degree in Engineering (i.e. Environmental, Chemical), Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Food Technology, Biology or similar
• Advanced written and spoken English
• 2-3 years of experience in Environmental area
• Orientation towards results, continuous improvement and innovation.
