SCARPA has established the PARILAB manufacturing facility in Alibunar, Serbia in 2015 which now employs over 500 skilled workers and is one of the fastest growing employers in South Banat and Vojvodina 

We are looking for an Executive assistant to the Managing Director (MD)

The aim and objective of the Executive Assistant position at Fabrika Obuće PARILAB D.O.O. is to support the MD and SCARPA executive team members to meet ambitious strategic growth plans and perform various administrative duties and organizational tasks, ensuring efficient company operations in compliance with SCARPA Group standards.

What will you be doing if you decide to join us?

  • Work alongside the MD to provide essential support for day to day business operations and tasks
  • Act as the main point of contact between the MD and SCARPA Group executives on ADRIA and SEE level
  • Provide personalized and timely operational support to MD and SCARPA Group executives on ADRIA and SEE level (reminding the MD of important tasks and deadlines, conducting research, providing/relaying adequate information, data, projects/tasks status reports etc.)
  • Liaise with peers of regional SCARPA facilities, ensure timely and effective communication flow, and manage MD’s appointment schedule by coordinating, planning, and scheduling meetings and call conferences
  • Assist the MD with internal and external communication – (structuring and arranging information, draft and prepare correspondence for internal and external announcements, board meetings’ presentations and stakeholders that interact with the executive team)
  • Assist the MD with analysis, editing, preparation and production of legal acts, notifications, decisions, resolutions and other official documents in alignment with guidelines provided by SCARPA group’s legal department, PARILAB’s legal consultants, Financial Department and HR Department
  • Support the MD with translation of official content and daily correspondence from/into English (and if possible, also Italian)
  • Be the first point of contact for PARILAB’s clients & partners visiting the facility in official capacity and support organization and execution of meetings with the MD and/or Division Managers
  • Prepare and distributes presentations/minutes of executive meetings and ensures timely, accurate and structured information flow and recording of data
  • Administer (filing, archiving, etc.) and update official PARILAB documents and align them with SCARPA standards when and if necessary
  • Manage, coordinate, and arrange travel and travel-related activities (including hotel booking, transportation, expense reports etc.)
  • Ascertain necessity and procure office equipment and other materials for back-office as required or directed by MD and/or SCARPA representatives
  • Support, administrate and update relevant information on official digital platforms and intranet
  • Support the HR department in related organizational and administrational matters
  • Assist the MD with special tasks as assigned

  • You will be directly reporting to the MD

 Qualification and skills:


  • College or University degree will be considered as a plus

 Role specific skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal, spoken and written communication skills
  • Extremely self-organized person with excellent time management skills
  • Problem solver with ability to quickly adapt to priorities and switch tasks 
  • Prior experience as an Executive or Personal Assistant in an international environment is desirable
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and other productivity tools, with aptitude to learn new systems
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English
  • Functional knowledge of Italian and/or Romanian is desirable (but not crucial for the role)
