Field Service Engineer

For the purposes of supporting our sales activities and our Principals in Europe, we are looking for a person to perform following activities, based in Belgrade, willing to travel around Europe and abroad.

We are looking for: Field Service Engineer, Belgrade.

Job description:

• Field service inclusive of corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance on various high end test and maintenance equipment for aviation industry
• Checks and repairs of various hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic and electric components of test equipment
• Managing the equipment installation process as well as comissioning and initial set up of equipment
• Customer training at comissioning
• OEM modifications incorporation
• Changes and programming of test program sets
• Development of equipment predictive maintenance schedules and bill of materials for future maintenance
• Troubleshooting of equipment
• Development of troubleshooting procedures, troubleshooting online platform and manuals
• Client’s remote assistance and guidance
• Development of equipment internal training manuals and methods and training leadership for equipment installed
• Liaison with OEMs in all above aspects, including performance feedback of the equipment
• Assisting sales in technical proposals including customer visits

Your profile and competences:

• BSc/MSc in mechatronics, electrical or mechanical engineering
• Experience in field service engineering and manual dexterity is a must
• Good understanding of system design of sensors and actuators, various industrial Mechanical systems, and able to do troubleshooting
• Profficient in various digital/analogue measurement techniques
• Capable of fluently reading and changing drawings and schematics
• Fluent in written and spoken English including technical English is a must, all other languages are a plus
• Working knowledge of programming and implementation of programmable logic controllers (PLC) an advantage
• programming languages are a plus (LabVIEW etc)
• Working knowledge of electrical circuits and instrumentation
• Good diagnostics / troubleshooting rationale and remote assistance with the ability to create and improve troubleshooting advices, create troubleshooting manuals, and ability to improve the equipment through review of key repetative issues
• MS office expert user
• Willingness to frequently travel throughout Europe (40% of working time)
• Self-motivativated person capable of fullfilling tasks without guidance
• Good interpersonal skills and understanding of different working cultures
• Aviation experience is a plus
• International exposure is a plus
• Ability to manage multi service agreements/contracts
• Strong communication skills with capability to simply comunicate complex systems, and convey knowledge in a structured manor
