About the role
This is a remote full time position based in Serbia, with working hours 10am-6pm CET Monday to Friday. Our Finance Assistant works closely with the Management Accountant and Finance Assistant based in the UK but liaises with all the team on a regular basis, including finance assistants based in Serbia.
Specific duties and responsibilities:
- Assist Sites with Sales Invoicing
- Manage Direct Debits
- Reconciling all payments to Accounting System and reconciling receivables balance
- Credit Control
- Manage Parent Deposits
- Month end procedures relating to revenue and customer invoicing
About you
- Experience in a transactional finance with use of Cloud based accounting systems (e.g. Xero) is desirable
- Experience working remotely in an administrative role is desirable
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbally, with confidence to communicate with all stakeholders across the business and build effective relationships
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and E-mail but also other Microsoft Office and Google Applications. You will also be proficient with other cloud-based systems
- Ability to work quickly and accurately, keeping to agreed timelines for delivery
- Fast learner with a good eye for detail
