Finance Compliance Coordinator

This position is part of our EDS (Electrical Distribution Systems) segment

As a Finance Compliance Coordinator you will be reponsible for reviewing and strengthening internal control processes within Aptiv Serbia plants, maximizing corporate performance, mitigating risks and ensuring compliance to SOX requirements, corporate policies and procedures, and local policies and procedures.

Your Role:

• Execute Aptiv SOX framework
• Co-ordinate SOX documentation
• Perform SOX validation testing
• Perform Balance Sheet and Site/Process Reviews to share and implement best practices from other Aptiv locations
• Responsible for Balance Sheet account reconciliation and aging
• Cooperation with internal and external auditors
• Follow up on action plans after internal or external audit
• Support coordination of quarterly SOX certification process
• Support design and implementation of improvement action plans
• Follow-up on internal control issues to ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures
• Follow-up on Serbian finance compliance requirements to ensure compliance with local policies and procedures

Your Background:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar
• Internal Controls departments’ experience or external audit background
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting guidelines
• Understanding of SOX requirements and other Internal Controls
• Fluent in English language
• Very good analytical and communication skills
