Financial Analyst/Accountant

An established, multi-family office located in Zurich with a strong focus on international clientele is looking for a highly dynamic individual to fill in the position for a full time/part-time Financial Analyst / Accountant for our group in Serbia and supporting teams in Cyprus and Switzerland. Candidates with some experience in portfolio management are preferred.

Due to increased business activities and expected future expansion, we are looking for a Financial Analyst, ideally with accounting experience.

JOB PROFILE

Depending on previous work experience and desired role, selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Monitor news flow and financial results of a portfolio of listed companies
• Analysis of historical results of listed companies
• Provide analysis of trends and forecast on the companies
• Development of cost-benefit analysis/modeling procedures for Real estate projects
• Preparing invoice documentation for the external bookkeeper
• Prepare cash flow reports for internal usage
• Providing bookkeeping services for Group companies
• Helping in invoicing process for Group companies
• Monthly reporting for investment committee meetings
• General administrative support to manage a client portfolio

Requirements

• Holding a bachelor’s degree from Accounting/Finance, preferably completed CFA level 1 or higher
• Combined 3 years of work experience as analyst/accountant is desirable
• Good with numbers and ability to distil large amounts of information into specific takeaways
• Knowledge of financial instruments and international stock exchanges
• Ability to manage and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Familiar with accounting software
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English; knowledge of other languages particularly German and/or Russian is highly desired
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
