Financial Market Analyst

We need a candidate who meets the following requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

• Required 2 years of business finance or other relevant experience
• Required Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or any other S.T.E.M. field
• Proficiency in English language
• High proficiency in financial modeling techniques
• Strong aptitude with Excel formulas and functions
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimum supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of business finance or other relevant experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, data query/data management tools is extremely helpful
• CFA candidates or similar designations preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; be comfortable interacting with executive-level management, holding a briefing in front of a large group of people
• Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics are preferred major fields
• Proven work experience in a quantitatively-heavy role
• Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow

Job description

• Providing written analysis, analytical commentary and interpretation of developing trends in the financial markets
• Analyzing geopolitical events and their impact on the financial markets
• Assist in performing market analysis and analyze trading strategies
• Support the Head of Research in coverage of the financial markets, including currencies, commodities, and equities
• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps

Key Responsibilities

• Working hours: Readiness to work in the evening hours (Monday to Friday 12PM until 8PM)
• Create recommendations to be presented to management and executives
• Develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting
• Conduct comparable analysis and market research to support internal financial analysis
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions, and trends
