We are seeking a Front-end Developer responsible for front-end development (backend a plus), including creating WordPress themes from scratch (not using Divi, Elementor, or any other theme builder).

This position requires a combination of programming skills (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on).

The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems.

Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred.

Skills and Requirements

  • Strong understanding of native front-end technologies
  • Understanding of PHP back-end development
  • Experience in building responsive user interfaces for websites and web applications without using CSS and JS libraries
  • Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
  • Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working web pages
  • Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
  • Understanding of code versioning tools
  • Demonstrable working Web Portfolio
