Frontend Solution Architect (M/F) 

This is a position in our offices in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Kragujevac or Nis, whatever location is better for you!

Your Main Tasks

• Work on the newest iteration of our software which is implemented right now with a completely new technology stack using the latest technologies.
• Act as a visionary, providing guidelines, dictating trends and onboarding and leveling-up less skilled colleagues.
• Deliver high-quality frontend code in a React.js based frontend environment and Symfony based backend.
• Develop the front-end of our hosted solution in a team consisting of front-end and back-end developers as well as testers.
• Act as intermediate between teams and TechBoard. Help answering and/or channeling architecture related questions.
• Follow an Agile development process with short release cycles and highly frequent deployments.
• Implement new and/or expand existing features, work on customer-specific enhancements and constantly improve the Platform.
• Develop deep understanding for our system architecture and landscape.
• Connect with other solution architects to discuss required tech/arch decisions and propose these to the TechBoard.
• Define and enforce coding guidelines and patterns in accordance with the TechBoard.

Your Profile

• 5+ years of professional software development, preferably in JavaScript, with at least 2 years in React.js frontend environment, including concepts like asynchronous programming, closures, ES6.
• Fundamental knowledge of CSS3 and HTML5, including concepts like layout, specificity, cross-browser compatibility. Experience in creating animations that run at 60fps is a plus.
• Interest in UI and UX development as well as being able to cooperate with Designers and Product Management.
• Experience within a working environment based on Linux, Docker, NPM, Git and Jira is a plus.
• Good knowledge of algorithms, data structures, design patterns and efficient programming.
• Clean and correct code is highly important to you.
• You pay attention to details and are comfortable enough voicing concerns out.
• Still active as a senior developer, and thus has a good view on current challenges and progress within his team.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Eager to learn, willing to share knowledge and ability to adapt to new processes and workflows. You are not afraid to jump into new things.
