Full Stack Java Developer for Car Insurance Industry

You will:

• Be part of the agile team working on complex car insurance software solutions
• Maintain, improve and develop new functionalities using Java (Java EE or Spring Boot) and React
• Participate in technical design, estimation, code reviews and writing tests
• Solve problems by using best practices and principles, such as Unit testing, TDD/BDD, SOLID, and design patterns
• Share knowledge during pair programming
• Code using Intellij IDEA
• Share positive and proactive team spirit

You have:

• At least 5 years of experience in Java web development
• Hands on experience using JEE and/or Spring and supporting tools and frameworks (such as Hibernate, JAX-RS, Junit, …)
• Knowledge of JavaScript, React or BackboneJS
• Knowledge of ColdFusion will be considered as an asset
• Experience working with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker
• Experience with relational databases
• Passion to deliver high quality code
• Willingness to learn new frameworks and libraries
• Ability to work well within teams
• Open and friendly personality
• Good problem-solving skills
• Degree or equivalent in computer science and software engineering
• Excellent knowledge of speaking and written English
