Our client is Effortel Technologies SA, a Mobile Virtual Network Enabler, with HQ in Belgium and R&D facilities in Bulgaria, providing platform-based transaction processing and management services for Mobile Virtual Network Operators. The platform offers all standard (and many valued-added) mobile services like Voice, SMS, mobile data services, self-care using web, voice, SMS or USSD, order management and more. Due to expansion of their business, Adecco is looking for motivated and proactive candidates to join their team in Belgrade on position of: Full-stack Software Engineer
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of proven experience designing, developing and scaling high-volume enterprise applications
- Fast, clean, efficient code implementation
- Expert knowledge in Java 8
- Experience with Java Enterprise technologies (Spring and/or Java EE)
- Knowledgeable about Database technologies (Hibernate)
- Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript (jQuery), Sass/Less
- 3+ years of experience with JavaScript;
- Reliable experience with JS Framework
- Experience with Unit testing
- Through knowledge of Linux OS
- Experience with Git and Maven
- Expert in software design practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English
- As an advantage will be considered:
- Experience with SOAP
- Experience with Liquibase
- Experience with Apache Kafka, Spark and Ignite
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Docker Compose, Swarm, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools (ex. Jenkins);
- ExtJS experience would be a great plus, but any other JS framework would do
Main responsibilities:
- Analyze software requirements in order to identify functional & business scenarios
- Apply incisive design and exceptional coding skill to knocking features off the products’ executive and growing features list
- Perform periodic refactoring that keeps the application code fresh, flexible and reusable
- Participate in team meetings and report development progress to the management
- Work together with QAs, Solution architects and BAs to clarify business requirements
- Help define team development and engineering best practices
- Suggest improvements for better software quality
- Provide inputs to the team in order to improve the development process
- Recognize opportunities and adopt innovative technologies
