TASKS:

Create Demand forecasts for the operation of the entire BMTS Group: Gather, analyze and validate data; Apply error analysis techniques to improve forecasting; Summarize/aggregate statistical forecasts.
Achieve consensus for operational demand forecasts by facilitating a collaborative planning process with sales, site logistics and finance personnel: Prepare relevant material to facilitate research and discussion.
Provide input to volume planning (Latest Estimates / annual process): Facilitate and manage demand planning/customer focused meetings; Achieve consensus with the business side and the supply chain.
Maintain demand planning system and software: Enter and modify data and ensure the correctness of product hierarchy; Monitor trends in forecast error; Identify relevant market-related data.
Develop & monitor the inventory plan: Master schedule high volume product families using the forecast developed; Monitor inventory levels and report weekly to the Director Logistics Global for evaluation.
Provide input to the BMTS Site Logistics Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning and SIOP processes and report weekly to the Director Logistics Global.
Monitoring (analysis and evaluation) of inventory management along the entire supply chain up to provision in the plant

PROFILE:

University or college level education in Economics or Engineering
Fluent English knowledge, able to present to a group and negotiate planning subjects
Min. 3 years of professional experience in a comparable planning position
Advance skill of MS Excel to be able to create and maintain complex planning tables
Experience with an ERP system is a must, SAP knowledge is a significant advantage
Occasional travels (2-3 times / Quarter) among BMTS Sites
Automotive experience is an advantage
