Health Safety Environmental Engineer

Report hierarchically and functionally to the Deputy HSE Manager

Job location: to be dedicated to Airport Nikola Tesla reconstruction Project

General tasks and Responsibilities:

Ensure the implementation of H&S Management Plan, Environmental & Social Management Plan and related HSE procedures of the project.

More closely:

• Conducting Safety inspections on daily basis, issuing reports, actions implementation
• Near Miss/Incident/Accident reporting, improvement actions implementation
• Environmental incident reporting, improvement actions tracking
• Providing Toolbox talk and other HSE related training to worker and management
• Providing Induction training and for new arrivals
• Emergency drill organization, reporting on outcomes, actions follow-up
• Attending Pre-task meetings with construction department and subcontractor representatives
• Attending weekly meetings with subcontractor

Knowledge and Experience:

• The successful candidate will ideally hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering - H&S, Environmental, Construction, Building, Architecture or similar;
• Experience of minimum 5 years in similar job position in construction industry;
• Fully proficient in English
• Effective verbal presentation and communication skills
• Strong attitude and management skills
• Holding a B category driving license
