SUMMARY:

Adequate candidate will be responsible for organizing, managing and leading manufacturing, maintenance, investment and quality departments and will participate in companies strategy, short and long term business planning, budgeting and people management. Besides this, the part of the roll would be to initiate plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials and capital, assure attainment of business objectives and productions schedules while insuring product standards that will exceed customers’ expectations. The chosen candidate will ensure the continuous improvement, optimization and adjustment of production process and equipment according to the best practice and will be involved in organizing, coordinating and monitoring of investments projects. S/He will continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes. S/He will attend regular board meetings and occasionally travel to the group meetings in Central Europe. Plant manager reports directly to the supervisory board.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• University degree in chemical engineering, technologist or mechanical engineering background
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a cement/chemical industry, other process industry or high production environment, with minimum 5 years of management experience within large organizations
• Good knowledge of the cement technology and production process
• Fluency in English language and good knowledge of MS Office package.
• Ready to learn one of the Slavic languages.
• Dedicated and proven leader able to work closely with all business functions.
• Hands on approach, optimistic, enthusiastic and pragmatic personality with good communication and organization values as well as good management skills.
• Ready to relocate because of business needs in the local area of the plant
