A Belgrade-based hotel management company is looking for an:

IT Manager

for Viceroy Kopaonik, the first 5-star mountain resort in Serbia

General purpose of the job:

• Contributes advanced knowledge and skill in technology and general hospitality business knowledge to support the hotel operation

Place of work:

• This role will start in our pre-opening office in Belgrade until the hotel opens. Onwards it will be based full-time in Kopaonik

Responsible to:

• General Manager

Essential Duties:

• Responsible for managing technology/asset life-cycle and ensuring that necessary equipment is ordered and available
• Co-ordinate the installation and implementation of new business systems with outside software and hardware vendors
• Maintain contact with all system vendors to be aware of new systems on the market and general market trends
• Create and maintain secure server environment. Performs server backups and routine/non-routine preventative maintenance
• Accountable for disaster recovery and business continuity as it relates to technology
• Install, monitor, and maintain telecommunications equipment

Requirements:

• Minimum two years of experience at a senior technical level in a four- or five-star hotel
• Knowledge of Oracle hospitality products is advantageous
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Bachelor’s degree in IT
• Fluency in both written and spoken Serbian and English
• Pre-opening Hotel experience is advantageous
