IT Workplace Engineer

As a member of the Global IT Workplace team in Belgrade, you will provide 3rd-level support for IT colleagues worldwide, focusing on endpoint management topics such as Windows and MacOS Deployment, Software Deployment, Patch Management, Configuration Management, and Automation tasks. Collaborating with colleagues from Tallinn (Estonia) Hamburg (Germany), and the USA, you will develop, test, implement, and evaluate new solutions, improve existing processes, and resolve problems as they arise.
Together with the team, you will build improvement possibilities to offer the best quality and efficiency in the service provided.

• Create Windows OS image using various technologies: Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), VBS, PowerShell, and Windows Deployment Servers (WDS). Renew drivers and application versions contained in the image.
• Design, administer, and maintain central WDS infrastructure and RMM (Remote Monitoring & Management system)
• Manage projects related to Windows Deployment Service and Microsoft Autopilot
• Provide support to IT colleagues on remote sites during WDS server setup, deployment share replication, and necessary network configuration. Monitor the WDS repository replication process around the globe.
• Endpoint Patch and Vulnerability Management of operating systems and standard applications for the IT workplace portfolio
• Define, test, and deploy hardware and software standards in collaboration with all stakeholders
• Active Directory Group Policy and Intune Configuration Profiles management for Windows and MacOS computers, Windows servers, Apple and Android mobile devices
• Create new configuration profiles according to the company requirements, and business partners
• Increase endpoint security by implementing best practices for protecting applications and devices from various threats
• Monitor the current health of our client and user landscape;
• Pro-actively protect our clients from external harm by implementing security policies or configurations based on company security baselines;
• Support the local IT by providing central policies to create a homogenous environment;
• Automation of daily tasks by scripting (PowerShell, BashShell);
• Follow company standards, record events, and problems and their resolution in wiki pages/reports/manuals;
• Research, evaluate, and stay updated on emerging tools, techniques, and IT technologies, working effectively in a collaborative and innovative team-oriented environment;
• Manage the life cycle of applications and services in Global IT Workplace responsibility;

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Minimum high school degree in IT, Computer Science, or a relevant field
• Knowledge of Windows server and client OS and the registry
• Proficiency in PowerShell (scripting and automation).
• Good working knowledge in Azure (Intune, SCCM, Entra, M365 Apps, Certificate services)
• Good working experience and understanding of Microsoft Windows Active Directory (AAD beneficial), LDAP, GPOs, and Configuration profiles in Intune
• Experienced with Microsoft WDS, MDT, Autopilot
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills to effectively understand and explain problems and solutions.
• Knowledge of network protocols (IPv4, DNS, DHCP, FW).
