Job Description

mySkin is changing the way people understand their skin by creating hardware, software, and mobile solutions measure and understand their skin through breakthrough technology. We’re inviting applications for image processing research and development positions as well as embedded developers. You will perform research and development work, but always with an eye towards practical market implementation. You have to be comfortable with optimization techniques, mathematical models, algorithms and cross platform / embedded development. All tasks will be done in a close collaboration with our software engineers and programmers.

Requirements: (Senior)

• Strong knowledge and 3+ year experience in image processing
• Strong C/C++ development skills
• Strong knowledge and experience in embedded development (C for Embedded)
• Experience in cross platform development
• Strong teamwork skills
• Ability to operate in a startup environment and execute in light of ambiguity and change
• Team building skills, growing existing talent and fostering growth and innovation
• Able to inspire and set and drive vision for the team

Pluses:

• Experience in algorithm parallelization, machine learning and OpenCV is a plus
• Experience in ARM and in general micro controllers (medium class, low memory 16-bit, 32-bit)
• DSP
• Knows what the customer manifesto is
• Understands lean startups
• Able to balance between process and agility
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills
• Strong collaborator with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience interacting with customers, or market facing end-users
