JOB DESCRIPTION
- Coordinates development of standardized equipment and manufacturing concepts in collaboration with multiple international locations
- Interdisciplinary executes methods to prevent risks (e.g. P-FMEA) for new equipment and manufacturing concepts
- Plans and coordinates structured process development, optimization and validation for new process technologies and corresponding equipment
- Reviews new product designs from manufacturing perspective to comply defined standards together with the respective disciplines (Design for Manufacturing)
- Identifies the status of existing processes and improvement opportunities and provide the information to the process’s owners and Manufacturing Planners
- Contributes to production flow optimization
- Measures the process results (timing on each process), keeps and analyzes the records and make corrective proposals
- Organizes new equipment installation (layout, utilities, etc.)
- Trains and supports the team members concerning process topics for ensuring a good understanding of the defined processes
- Supports piloting and deployment of new/updated processes to align the local organization to the international processes and standards

QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics or related discipline
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role in the automotive/consumer electronics industry
- Knowledge in Mechanical Engineering, Automations, drive and servo technologies
- Knowledge in planning and execution of equipment projects in Production and Assembly
- CAD tools advanced
- Ergonomics and Time measurement knowledge
- Advanced MS Office
- Ability to work Independently
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English
