Intellectual Property Paralegal

We are looking for an Intellectual Property Paralegal to join our Serbia office.

Responsibilities:

• Creating and maintaining prosecution records in the database
• Maintaining IP rights (renewals, annuities)
• Handling recordal of changes before local IPO
• Coordinating maintenance and recordal matters at the regional level
• Assisting in portfolio integration
• Translating texts from the local language to English and vice versa
• Preparing, filing and prosecuting trademark, patent, or other IPR applications, including handling of office actions

Requirements:

• College or University degree
• Excellent and professional command of English language (both written and verbal)
• Two years of experience as a Paralegal and/or in the intellectual property field;
• Detail oriented
• High sense of responsibility
• Ability to work independently and manage various projects with minimal oversight
• Good time management skills and ability to prioritize and utilize resources as available
• Strong computer skills, not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
