ClassRT - Canadian-based startup looking for an enthusiastic, creative DevOps engineer/developer who has experience with AWS cloud. Responsibilities:

Streamline development release processes with some of the most cutting-edge technologies, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Helm charts, Teraform
Manage ClassRT cloud services
Implement monitoring by using Graphana and Prometheus
Implement alerting
Implement draining of logs into the ELK stack
Improving and managing ClassRT infrastructure security
Consult with developers on newer architecture and help scale/troubleshoot existing architecture
Implement disaster recovery procedures
Stay current with the new technologies evaluating and implementing solutions that align with ClassRT and DevOps needs

Skills and Expertise Required:

Experience building and operating Kubernetes clusters in production
Experience with AWS service especially load balancers, ECR, EKS, EC2, CodeBuild, CodePipeline etc.
Extensive Docker experience
Extensive experience in building process automation, build and deployment pipelines
Thorough understanding of software development processes (Git, Branching, testing, CICD)
Knowledge of corporate security obligations including PCI compliance is a plus
Ability to self-start and deep dive into upcoming technologies
Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting experience
Willing to participate in an 24/7 on-call rotation and experience with incident management and post-mortem follow ups
Interpersonal skills working on various levels of management and colleagues
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral (in English)
University Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent knowledge/experience
