Adriatic Bank JSC Belgrade is looking to recruit highly motivated professional for the job position

International Payments & Trade Finance Officer (m/f)

Main activities and responsibilities:

  • Opening and advising on letters of credit, issuance and advising on letters of guarantee, collection of documents, cheque collection
  • Creation of all supporting documentation (contracts etc.)
  • Creation of swift messages (category 2, 7, 9)
  • Checking of underlying documents (contracts, invoices etc.)
  • Execution of all required bookings
  • Participation in internal projects
  • Creation of payment orders (outgoing and incoming)
  • Payments investigations,
  • Creation of swift messages (category 1)
  • Control transactions from AML aspect
  • Communication with clients when and if necessary
  • Correspondence with foreign banks
  • Other related activities
  • Correspondence with other departments within the bank
  • Monitoring of local regulations

Requirements:

  • A minimum 3 years of the relevant working experience
  • Experience backed knowledge of trade finance products
  • Ability to assess financial and regulatory compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
  • Knowledge of the following applications: ASSECO,VERPEX, SWIFT ALLIANCE an advantage
  • Understanding of relevant regulation
  • Fluency in  English
