JAVA 2EE/ALFRESCO SENIOR DEVELOPERS
Responsibilities:
The candidate should be able:
- to help to design the software system and identify its functional requirements (both architectural and technical), in order to write the Software Requirements Specification
- to cope with the main problems (bugs/defects) arising during the different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (software implementation, testing, etc...) and to identify the possible technical and organizational solutions
- to meet the deadlines and to co-ordinate the software development team, in order to ensure that the company software engineering methodology is followed, the company tools are used and its standards and requirements are properly met
- to integrate new software modules
- to support the software delivery and co-ordinate the testing events
- to support the HR department in recruiting and training new resources
- to help less experienced developers to solve coding problems
Requirements:
The candidate should have gained a consolidated experience in this role (at least 4/6 years). He/she should be experienced (at least 2 years) in designing and developing Java Enterprise web applications requiring the use of the following technologies:
- JAVA extensions and architectures: JavaEE, J2SE, JDBC, JSP, JSF, Servlet
- Frameworks: Struts, Spring, Stripes, Tapestry, Velocity, Tiles, Log4J, JasperReports, FreeChart, Lucene, XML Framework, Hibernate, iBatis
- WEB 2.0: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML/XSLT, AJAX, Dojo, Prototype, JQuery, Mootools, Ext JS 2.0, Json, Vaadin
- CMS / Portals: Liferay Portal, Alfresco, Magento, JBoss Portal
- Object-oriented analysis and design: E-R Diagram tool, UML, BPMN, Design Patterns, Ant, Maven
- DBMS: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, PL/SQL
