Junior Web Engineer

In this role, you will manage a proxy technology to integrate translations and generate mirrored localized versions of websites. You will work directly with a small team of Web Engineers that will collaborate with you to meet the requirements made by a client.

You will collaborate on deploying new configurations, maintaining current projects and you will coordinate with Product Managers and QA team to serve the best quality configurations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high quality configurations for OneLink proxy solution
• Use UNIX command line programs and scripts to perform a variety of tasks
• Analyze, design, develop, maintain and support configurations
• Write applications that automate workflows and support the efficiency of internal operations
• Assist with fixing layout issues with CSS, JavaScript or HTML
• Manage different projects at the same time, while ensuring that the best possible performance and quality are applied on all configurations
• Develop and prepare documents for each project that is managed
• Ensure builds of projects are delivered on time and with high quality
• Work with QA to assure project quality
• Engage and interact with technical and non-technical staff
• Work closely in collaboration with DevOps team to facilitate rapid development according to accepted plans and requirements
• Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure that work is understood and completed on time
• Operate in agile environment
• Adopt a pro-active approach towards preventing problems

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Web Development experience is a plus
• Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS and HTML
• Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks
• Basic knowledge of UNIX commands
• Knowledge of PHP, Python, NodeJS and SVN is a plus
• Ability to complete a project from start to finish including planning, coding, and testing
• Ability to work according to requirements and priorities
• Ability to tackle problems and resolve issues
• A problem solver's mentality with the ability to effectively communicate solutions and issues to stakeholders
• Fast learner
