Legal Associate

The Renewable energy company from California USA is looking for the Legal Associate.

Key responsibilities:

·        Preparing, organizing, and filing documents and correspondence

·        Conducting research, document searches, and other factual research

·        Updating and maintaining internal databases

·        Preparing witness and matter materials for case preparation

·        Organizing relevant documents for attorney review and case preparation

·        Preparing for and attending depositions

·        Preparing and organizing exhibits during depositions

·        Preparing and filing all court documents

·        Preparing contract templates for attorney review 

·        Researching matters related to solar, construction, employment and related areas 

·        All of the above in close cooperation and with support from others based in the United States and locally based colleagues. 

Requirements:

·        University degree in law

·        Bar exam

·        At least 6 years of experience in civil proceedings at higher courts/commercial courts

·        Excellent English language proficiency (written and spoken)

·        Excellent writing skills

·        Excellent research skills

·        Experience in working in an international environment

·        High business ethics and code of conduct

·        Excellent MS Office computer skills

·        Strong attention to detail

·        Excellent analytical and decision based thinking
