Maintenance Engineer
Location: Subotica
Job Description

Checking the condition of machines and equipment

  • Creates plans for inspection of machines and monitors their implementation.
  • Participates in defecting and if the failure is not eliminated within the specified notifies the immediate supervisor
  • Analyzes equipment downtime by type of JD17 failures reported in time.

Preventive machine maintenance

  • Creates a plan for preventive maintenance of equipment and facilities (which indicates the intervals when regular maintenance of equipment and facilities and what actions should be taken), monitors and ensures its implementation.
  • Performs all necessary work at the level related to preventive maintenance, with use of ladders or electric platform for work at height.
  • Keeps records of performed actions and makes periodic reports.

Emergency machine maintenance

  • Creates an emergency maintenance plan and defines emergency response procedures.
  • After receiving notification of a fault, if necessary, goes to the scene, makes a defect and participates in troubleshooting.
  • In case the fault cannot be fixed, decides on hiring external support, informs immediate manager and monitors further situation (supervises the work of the external company that is engaged).
  • Performs all necessary work at height related to emergency maintenance, using ladders or electric platform for work at height.
  • Keeps records of actions performed and makes periodic reports.

Installation of new equipment and its improvement

  • Participates in investment projects and monitors their implementation.
  • Leads the process of installing new equipment in accordance with the investment plan and provides all necessary technical support.
  • Participates in initial tests of machines and plants.
  • Repairs equipment and plants to improve their work.
  • Performs all necessary height work related to the installation of new equipment, using ladders or electric platform for work at height.

Spare parts management

  • Takes care of the condition of the warehouse in the warehouse and ensures the optimal stock of spare parts and consumables.
  • Procurement of spare parts and consumables for the maintenance sector

Organizing the work of maintenance technicians

  • Organizes the work of maintenance technicians and monitors the execution of tasks on regular, preventive and emergency maintenance.
  • Determines the priorities of intervention.
  • Reports to the superior on the results achieved.
  • Supervises the technicians in the execution of troubleshooting and provides technical support
Qualifications
  • University degree in a technical direction, preferably in electrical engineering, automation, mechatronics or a related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the same or similar positions
  • Knowledge of MS Office package
  • English (middle level)
