Master Data Analyst

 Support Master Data Quality Improvement Projects & Activities:

• Analyse Material Master Data and identify quality gaps and improvement potentials in cooperation with Data Stewards and Data Owners
• Examine sets of existing master data: 
• Drive and align Master Data Quality improvement projects
• Mass Upload and Mass Changes of Material Master Data

• Organize and drive Material Master Data cleansing activities:
• Implement and monitor materials status management (creation, quality approval, phase out, archiving, etc.)
• Drive phase out activities: Reduce complexity and number of active item codes in our SAP system
• Monitor Material Master Data Creation Performance and Data Quality:
• Monitor KPI and quality reports (lead times, service levels, completeness, etc.) for Material Master Data Creation
• Review KPIs with local Data Stewards
• Support and Lead Master Data activities for Product Transfers:
• Support and coordinate Master Data changes for product relocation activities 
• Coordinate Maintenance of Info records, source lists as well as vendor and customer data; 
• Support data selection, cleansing, quality improvement and enrichment;
• Drive and align process improvement activities for the Material Master Data Creation Tool
• Organize Review Meetings and Update Trainings
• Prepare Documentation (Flow Charts, Training Material, Process Descriptions)
• Refine and anchor Master Data Governance in our organisation:
• Support definition of policies, rules and guidelines for material master data fields
• Support Master Data owners and stake holders deploying standards and guidelines

Qualifications:

• Degree or similar in economy, informatics, process management
• Excellent in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Good Skills of SAP, especially Master Data Management
• 1-2 years of working experience in an international and global company; preferably in a matrix structure
• Fluent in English, German will be advantage
• Master Data management knowledge and excellent overall understanding of Master Data processes especially
• Experience in process and data harmonization and standardization
• Self-organized and self-motivated, initiative taking and drive for result work style;
• Excellent analytical capabilities for data analytics
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Used to work in international, multicultural organizations
• Pro-active and achievement oriented; high level of integrity, personal drive 
• Hands on, pragmatic attitudes to achieve significant quality improvements in all areas of Master Data
