Medior / Senior e-Commerce Developer

openinnovation.me is a development provider which focuses on providing top talent to international clients. We are looking for experienced e-Commerce developers who will work on a new e-commerce solution for a German brand.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 3 years of working experience as a software developer, preferably on e-commerce projects. Senior developers from other fields that are willing to quickly switch to Shopify are welcome.

Following are needed technologies and skills:

• Knowledge of Liquid templating language,
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript,
• Creating custom designed themes for Shopify,
• Creating Shopify Custom/Private Apps using Shopify APIs,
• Shopify Apps stack can be chosen by the developer depending on the experience and in agreement with our CTO and client,
• Extending new features inside existing parts of the Shopify Admin or POS,
• Experience with API based architecture and technologies (HTTP, GraphQL, REST),
• English language is mandatory, both written and spoken.

It is a plus if you:

• Have good knowledge of programming standards and technologies,
• Have an understanding of software architecture.

Responsibilities:

The chosen Candidate will be responsible for:

• Developer e-commerce shop, with custom themes, apps, sections, pages, following best Shopify guidelines and standards,
• Development and maintenance of any needed third-party integrations, there is already built integration with ERP.
