Operations Manager

For our team, we are looking for a new colleague to join us as our: Operations manager 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• establish, maintain and manage the distribution network and its quality
• selection of new and evaluation of existing subcontractors
• managing the Operations Department and the Central Sorting Center (HUB)
• managing the Quality department, Customer Service and IT departments
• strategic planning of department activities and providing the necessary support
• continuous monitoring of key processes, initiation of preventive and corrective actions
• participation in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasting and analysis of operating costs and capital expenditures (OPEX; CAPEX)
• optimization of existing business processes and development of new ones with the accompanying documentation
• close cooperation with the Management Board

From our ideal candidate we expect:

• bachelor or master degree
• minimum 5 years of experience in similar role
• thorough knowledge of postal services, parcel distribution principles and customs procedures
• knowledge of ISO 9001/14001 management systems 
• strong leadership and management skills
• strong communication skills and ability to build strong interpersonal relationships
• developed business process management skills, analytical, strategic and organized approach to work tasks
• ability to manage a variety of situations in a dynamic environment
• solid knowledge in MS Excel (Pivot, advanced Excel functions)
• proficiency in English (B2/C1)
• driving licence (B category)
