Packaging & Logistic officer must perform his duties in such a way that all tasks arising in his area are carried out objectively correctly, on time, quickly and economically. He is responsible for efficient packaging planning and smooth processes in the area of responsibility. It represents the company to the outside world and ensures a good reputation as well as a positive public image.
Main Tasks
- Read and undestand logistic and packaging specifications and requirements from customer.
- Development, planning, and implementation of item-specific special and special load carriers, as well as customer-specific packaging concepts in the project phase.
- Packaging Planning: Develop and implement efficient packaging plans in line with production specifics.
- Resource Optimization: Utilize data analysis to identify the most effective strategies for reducing packaging and logistic costs, minimizing waste, and improving efficiency.
- Inventory Control: Monitor packaging inventory levels, identify replenishment needs, and maintain optimal quantities.
- Quality and Sustainability: Achieve and maintain high logistic and packaging quality standards, as well as research and implement sustainable solutions.
- Support Sales department during RFQ Packaging and Logistics.
- Understanding about Standards and JIT and JIS delivery forms.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in logistics and packaging planning or related roles.
- Proficiency in the use of planning and data analysis software.
- Exceptional organizational, negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to make quick decisions and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel for occasional business trips, also for a training in Germany for several weeks
- Excellent English skills due to the international involvement of our customer, suppliers and the mother company in Germany.
- German language is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a team.
