Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Payroll and Tax Specialist – Accountant at Vossloh MIN Skretnice in Niš.
Payroll and Tax Specialist – Accountant will be responsible for payroll administration, handling garnishments, payroll services, managing payroll taxes, and overseeing payroll processing on a day-to-day basis.

• Faculty of Economics
• Accounting experience
• Experience in communication with tax authorities
• Payroll administration, payroll services and payroll processing skills
• Experience in managing garnishments and payroll taxes
• Knowledge of creating and processing payroll
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll calculations
• Familiarity with payroll software and systems
• Experience working in SAP and stock management software
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Knowledge of English language (Intermediate level)

Duties and responsibilities

• VAT calculation, submission of tax return
• Calculation of corporate income tax calculation and submission of tax returns
• Preparation of annual financial statements with notes and submission of financial statements to the APR (Serbian Business Registers Agency)
• Communication with tax authorities
• Ensures compliance with accounting regulation and tax requirements
• Control of invoice and matching with content or purchase order
• Booking of incoming and outgoing invoices and maintain accurate and complete financial and accounting records
