Our client is an international EMS company with diversified industries’ clients throughout Europe. Due to the expansion of their local business, we are looking for highly responsible and versed professional for the following position:
PLANT MANAGER
Location: Niš
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing of Production (SMT, THT, Box Building, Repair & Rework, Test and Packing) and Technology (Process Engineering, Test Engineering and Production Planning) to ensure a reliable production process, a stable and safe production environment, a quality product and an efficient plant according to implemented standards and procedures.
- Responsible for creation and realization of production plan and production schedule that achieves the most efficient resource utilization to obtain on-time shipping
- Analyses production capacity, production demands, project specifics, material flow, operations sequences and resources, to determine worker functions and responsibilities and corresponding staff requirements
- Directs workers engaged in production and testing activities to ensure production process efficiency and reliability and product quality
- Recommends methods for improving utilization of personnel, material, and utilities
- Responsible for continuous improvement of the manufacturing process, material handling and production staff competencies
- Responsible for NPI process preparation and execution, ordering solder stencils, screen printing, pick and place programming, thermal profiling and X-ray inspection
- Develops labour quotes and process flow routings to support sales of new products
- Leads the design, implementation and optimization of manufacturing processes, equipment and lean material flow in production shop floor
- Responsible for on-time release and distribution of production documentation of all processes such as flow chart, operator instructions, BoM, BoP, working instructions, changeover procedures, etc
- Defines sampling procedures and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting production performance and quality data
- Responsible for implementing engineering changes into production process and documentation
- Manages all aspects of engineering corrective actions
- Support and directly reporting to the Site CEO
Required Skills and Experience:
- University degree (preferably in Electronic, Electrotechnical or Mechanical Engineering)
- Minimum 5 years production top managerial experience in electronic production
- Demonstrated experience in production capacity planning
- Experience in managing more than 50 employees
- Strong Project Management and Leadership skills
- Excellent knowledge of English language
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, ERP, MES and CAQ Software Systems.
- Experience from automotive company, from the plant start up and/or work in Pantheon will be consider as an advantage
