Position: PostgreS DBA and Data Architect

Work building complex data products for a cutting edge US financial data startup with clients like the Allianz hedge fund and Fidelity brokerage. Work with experienced startup developers who have built extensive data pipelines and platforms across multiple technologies.

Desirable technology experience:

• PostgreSQL DBA Skills
• Python

Other relevant experience includes:

• SQL Server, MySQL or Oracle DBA experience
• Scala
• AWS data platform tools (Glue/Step/EMR/Data Lake)

Minimum Applicant Requirements:

• Excellent command of English, written and spoken
• Ability to produce tested applications from business requirements
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Self-starting, well-organized, and enthusiastic work style
• At least 2 year minimum direct experience
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and Skype account
