Product Cost Engineer

Your tasks as Product Cost Engineer:
- Proactively driving target cost management for target cost achievement, including the objectives of the functional departments involved
- On project level, implementing idea and measure management across product lines, including a target group-oriented reporting
- Organizing and facilitating product cost optimization workshops, managing the design-to-cost process to develop alternate technical solutions on concept, component and functional levels, applying the corresponding set of methods (functional cost analysis, design-to-cost, benchmark)
- Actively supporting Product Cost Management in both acquisition and product development projects
- Collaborating with corporate functions (Technology Domains) to coordinate product costing and joint cost engineering tasks
Your profile as Product Cost Engineer:
- University degree in a technical field (Engineering, Engineering Management, or similar)
- Several years of relevant professional experience, distinct cost awareness and profound knowledge of electronics manufacturing and assembly processes
- Controlling and/or cost accounting knowledge is desired
- Fluent English language skills, knowledge of German Language is an advantage
- Self-reliant, systematic, and goal-oriented working method, very good moderation, and presentation skills
