Production Shift Leader (Automotive)

Vorwerk Autotec is a global developer, manufacturer, and distributor of rubber bushes and bearings for automotive suspension components. To strengthen the Vorwerk Autotec team in Čačak, we are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Production department.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Ensuring that production Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) are monitored and targets achieved;
• Lead by example, ensuring a safe and efficient workplace is always maintained;
• Contribute to the improvement of working procedures by constantly looking for solutions to ensure the best productivity results and ensuring compliance with procedures, operating instructions, and work instructions;
• Supervising employees, assigning duties, and creating a shift schedule;
• Team Leaders professional development and mentoring;
• Monitoring team performance and ensuring duties are performed efficiently;
• Reporting any issues that arise during the shift to management;
• Providing support and improvements for production plan realization;
• Daily reporting to the Vulcanization Leader and Production Manager.

Your qualification:

• Ability to lead and motivate a team of people to succeed by utilizing appropriate interpersonal styles including leading by example, setting objectives, and defining responsibilities to give a clear sense of direction;
• Previous experience as a Shift Leader or in a similar role in the automotive industry;
• Experience creating shift schedules;
• Basic English language knowledge;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Confident problem-solver;
• Team player;
• MS Office fluent.
