Program Launch Engineer

Yanfeng Seating d.o.o. Kragujevac, a member of the Yanfeng group, a global automotive trim supplier, with presence on 3 continents, and in over 100 locations, is expanding it’s business with a greenfield investment in Serbia. We are looking for a motivated candidate, to become a core team member of our new factory in the position of: PROGRAM LAUNCH ENGINEER

Main Responsibilities:

• Establishing new project commissioning team, organizing and coordinating the work of relevant departments to ensure the smooth start of the new project; 
• Responsible for new production / product transfer related work, ensuring that customer requirements are met, and achieving the goal of 0-0-100-100-30 (0 injuries, 0 quality issues, 100% on time, 100% on budget, for first 30 days after launch); 
• Completing the evaluation of the production performance indicators and formulating adequate improvement path table to ensure that the production projects meet the performance goals;
• Checking feasibility of parts localization, tracking and promoting localization progress to meet annual localization goals;
• Identifying potential risks and using assessment tools to ensure that major issues are effectively contained and resolved as quickly as possible;
• Carrying out project management in accordance with the PLUS process to ensure that the project completes within the company's established schedule, quality and financial indicators;
• Creating a good company image; establishing long-term customer relationships.

Requirements:

• Bachelor diploma (min. 180 ESPB) in Industrial/Mechanical engineering or related field;
• 2 or more years of Project management experience;
• Very good command of spoken and written English, knowledge of German/Chinese will be considered an advantage;
• Familiarity with some Project management software;
• Availability to spend longer periods abroad for training or work;
• Excellent interpersonal/organizational skills, strong sense of team belonging.
