Project Engineer/Electrical Engineer for Rotating Equipment

with the following responsibilities and qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Consultancy and engineering services for planning and handling of power plant projects involving electrical equipment;
• Consultancy/engineering services are ranging from a single plant component to complex operation management problems; from pre-feasibility studies to project implementation including – rehabilitation, construction, commissioning, operation and/or maintenance; 
• Assessment of large electrical motors, generators and generator auxiliaries status and operation through analysis of technical documentation, process data and visual inspection;
•  Drawing up tenders and technical specifications;
• Basic engineering and calculations using standard software engineering tools;
• Supervision of construction and commissioning of electrical equipment.

Qualifications:

• University degree (Electrical Engineering);
• Minimum 5 years of proven working experience in thermal and/or hydro power plants and at least 3 years of first-hand experience in operation, maintenance and overhaul of electrical generators;
• Comprehensive knowledge of the operating principles and maintenance procedures of equipment and machinery used in the power plants;
• Fluency in English and Serbian language (written and spoken) is mandatory;
• Other languages would be an advantage, especially German and/or Russian;
• Engineering Licence(s) for Design and/or Construction in accordance with valid Serbian legislation;
• Sound knowledge and practical experience with FIDIC Conditions of Contracts would be an advantage;
• Experience and knowledge of international procurement procedures and contract conditions would be an advantage;
• Strong computer skills;
• Sound organisational and drafting capabilities;
• Flexibility to work as a part of a team in a challenging environment.
