Project Supplier Development Engineer

Your Tasks as Project Supplier Development Engineer:
- Participating in Project Core Team as representative of Supplier Development/ Supplier Quality
- Daily communication with Commodity Supplier Development Engineers, Program Purchasing, Plant Supplier Quality Assurance / Incoming Inspection, In-House Quality Planning located worldwide
- Coordination of all Commodity Supplier Development activities (Maturity of components / APQP / Supplier Readiness / PPAP) per project (BOM) in accordance with Project milestones / gates
- Reporting of Project Supplier Readiness Activities to Project / Portfolio Management, Divisional Material Management, Local Production Plant Management; Occasional reporting / communication with Customer - Internal / OEM
- Coordination of engineering changes on behalf of responsible Commodity Supplier Development Engineers within Project Core Meeting / ECM approval in ERP system
- Responsible for first level Escalation process from Supplier Development Activities to Project Core Team or reverse direction
Your Profile as Project Supplier Development Engineer:
Degree in Technical Field/Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Quality)/Project Management
- Preferable several years of working experience in Materials Management, Project Management, Quality Assurance/Control, Industrialization or Technology Development in automotive or other relevant industry
- Good knowledge and understanding of Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA) and Project Management Tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills
- Fluency in English language, German language skills are beneficial
