Your job
- Concept development & design engineering (understanding how components fit together, BoM, wiring scheme, preparation of technical drawing,) for luminaires and lighting Systems for custom products (modification of existing, standard products) and portfolio extensions;
- Industrialization for custom products and industrialization support for NPD Team(Design for X; BoM, Drawing, Wiring Schemes)
- Taylor made modification for (existing) standard-products;
- Feasibility check, verification and approval for existing concepts (concepts from internal/external supplier)
- Continuous Improvement for Standard-products (Engineering Change Management)
- Q-improvement (triggered by external and internal claims)
- Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VaVe) & cost down exercises;
- Securing conformity of product design;
- Technical support and internal expert;
Your profile
- Minimum University degree Technical science (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering)
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering and electronics, basic business knowledge, knowledge of lighting technology, knowledge of products and production possibilities, operational and organizational knowledge
- Construction and project experience is advantage
- Understanding of which prefabrication processes is advantage (cutting, bending, stamping, milling, drilling, laser cutting…)
