JOB DESCRIPTION – QUALITY PROCESS - PRODUCT SPECIALIST
As our Quality Process - Product Specialist your primary responsibility is to maintain, coordinate and apply control plans, instructions and suitable methods necessary to assure the product conformity. Monitor the process parameters during all the different steps of production according to the definitions (cable definitions, instructions).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing, optimising and improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality and safety.
- Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Oversees and assesses existing processes and workflows.
- Assembles reports to document process status and changes.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to reduce costs, minimise waste and increase efficiency.
- Conducts risk assessments.
- Collaborate with engineering, production and quality assurance teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Monitoring and analysing process data, identifying trends and proposing solutions for process improvement continuously.
- Performing process capability studies, statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making to achieve operational excellence and meet production targets.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements in all process engineering activities.
- Contributes to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Identify and implement process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques, to ensure consistent quality and reduce process variation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in process engineering technologies, methodologies and best practices.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial or similar).
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of experience as a process engineer in a manufacturing environment.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex process issues.
- Working knowledge of process safety, risk assessment and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO standards.
LANGUAGE & SOFTWARE SKILLS:
- MS Office Software (Excel, Words, PPT) and MES, ERP applications
- English is a must.
