Remote Ruby on Rails Developer

We are looking to hire an experienced remote Ruby on Rails Developer who will work in a team of uniquely intelligent technologists to implement web applications that make the world a better place!

This position requires a hands-on developer that will fully participate in the software development process – design, development, unit testing, and technical documentation. Job Description

• Participate in the architecture, design and development phase of software production
• Build a polished cross-browser web-based user interface
• Deliver high-quality software with extensive Unit Testing
• Participate successfully in an established daily Scrum process
• Communicate with foreign team members and clients
• Enforce best coding and UI standards, evaluate others’ work

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience developing web applications
• Strong experience with dynamic languages like Ruby or Python
• Ability to write documented code that is usable in a team environment
• Experience with test-driven development
• Experience with large dynamic web applications
• Excellent spoken and written English
