Security Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Experience in building and maintaining security systems
• Detailed knowledge of database and operating system security
• Experience with network security and networking technologies and system, security, and network monitoring tools
• Lead security risk assessments to ensure compliance with corporate security policies and adherence to best practices
• Evaluate new and existing security designs, and emerging security technologies and systems
• Serve as a high-level technical security resource on large-scale network and/or systems/database/datacenter issues
• You may direct or serve as a mentor to less experienced staff
• Work on Enterprise Data and Data Security for Audit and Monitoring, Data Scanning and Masking efforts, supporting
• Support infrastructure, SME to security operations teams during on boarding process, supporting infrastructure and implementation of data hardening and scanning solution

Requirements

• 3+ years of Information Security experience
• Advanced Information Security technical skills and understanding of information security practices and policies
• Able to manage complex issues and develop solutions
• Establish knowledge and understanding of database and server auditing and administration
• Knowledge and understanding of application security planning and security architecture
• Knowledge and understanding of information security risk assessment or audit
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
